PrintSyde Pte. Ltd., together with its U.S. subsidiary PrintSyde LLC (collectively “PrintSyde,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the PrintSyde.com marketplace (the “Platform”) serving customers located in the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information of Artists, Sellers, Buyers, and site visitors (“Users”) and describes your rights and choices.
1. Definitions
- Artist / Designer: individual or entity uploading original artwork or designs.
- Seller: registered user authorized to list or sell Products.
- Buyer: user who purchases Products.
- Site Visitor: user browsing without an account.
2. Data Controllers & Affiliates

- Fulfillment Partners: Merchize (Vietnam) and ShineOn (U.S.)

3. Personal Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
- Account registration data (name, email, password, phone, address, date of birth, government ID, tax documents, bank details)
- Order details and custom design files
- Uploaded artwork and metadata
- Communications with support (including call recordings where notice is given)

- IP address, device ID, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
- Cookies and tracking technologies (essential, analytics, advertising – with consent)

- Payment confirmations (PayPal / Stripe)
- Fulfillment and shipping status (Merchize, ShineOn, USPS)

5. Sensitive Personal Information (SPI)
We collect limited SPI—such as government-issued IDs, tax IDs, and bank details—for Seller verification, fraud prevention, payouts, and compliance.
We do not use SPI for advertising.
SPI is retained only as long as necessary to meet these purposes and legal obligations.
California residents may exercise the right to limit certain uses of SPI.
6. DMCA and IP Enforcement Data

- Data Handled: takedown notices, counter-notices, uploader IDs, IP logs, timestamps, correspondence
- Retention: takedown records 3 years; related logs 1 year
- Purpose: investigate infringement, notify Users, preserve safe-harbor protection
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share data only as necessary for operations or legal compliance:
- Service providers (e.g., fulfillment, hosting, analytics, marketing)
- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe – independent controllers)
- Shipping partners (USPS – name, address, package details only)
- Rights holders (for IP complaints)
- Legal authorities (when required by law or to protect rights and safety)
- Affiliates and business transfers (under confidentiality agreements)
- Anonymized aggregates (for research and analytics)
8. International Transfers & Safeguards
Although PrintSyde serves U.S. customers, data may be processed in Singapore and Vietnam.
We use data-transfer agreements and organizational measures providing protection equivalent to U.S. standards, including encryption and access controls.
9. Cookies & Advertising Preferences
We use essential, analytics, and advertising cookies.
Users can manage non-essential cookies through Cookie Settings or browser controls.
Where required, we obtain consent before setting such cookies.
We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals; however, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of “share” or “sale” under California law.

10. California Privacy Disclosures (CPRA)
PrintSyde does not sell personal information.
We may share information with analytics or advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California residents may opt out via our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control and by enabling a GPC signal in their browser.
We confirm such requests within statutory timeframes and will not discriminate for exercising rights.
11. Data Retention
- Orders & financial records – 7 years
- Communications – 3 to 5 years
- Marketing consents – until withdrawal
- IP-enforcement records – per Section 6
- SPI – for required legal period only
12. Security Measures & Incident Notification
We implement encryption (SSL/TLS), role-based access, vendor security reviews, intrusion detection, incident-response plans, and regular audits.
If a data incident occurs, we will notify affected Users and regulators as required by law.
13. User Rights and Choices
Users may:
- Access, correct, or delete personal data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Withdraw consent for marketing or cookies
- Request data portability
Verification and Authorized Agents: We may require information to verify identity before acting on requests.
California residents may designate an authorized agent; we may request proof of authority.
Appeals (VA/CO/CT): If a privacy request is denied, you may appeal within 45 days by replying with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We respond within 45 days with reasons and Attorney General contact info.
Risk-Based Decisions: We use limited automated assessments (e.g., chargeback rate, complaints, KYC status) to help determine payout schedules, reserves, or commission adjustments. You may request human review of a materially adverse decision by contacting [email protected].
14. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is intended for users 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 and will delete such data if discovered.
15. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-Platform alert. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
